"Indoor plants have been linked to improved concentration and memory as well as a reduction in stress. Research has also linked indoor plants with increased productivity and reduced mental fatigue, all of which can be beneficial in the classroom environment." Making our classroom connect with nature is key to making learning meaningful. Not only will our air in our classroom be cleaner but our ownership and care for living things will improve as well. Students will see the plants and their scientific names along with the research about the benefits of having plants. My goal is that our kids appreciate all the benefits that nature offers us when we take care of mother nature in return.
