My Project I am requesting 8 tablets for the classroom. Having that amount of tablets in the classroom will allow my students the opportunity to use apps in small groups specifically created to help develop Reading, Math , Science ,Social Studies skills even Writing in Spanish. Our school does not have a computer school wide program to help with beginning skills in Spanish . Having tablets in the classroom would give students the opportunity to easily access programs throughout the day without a difficult signing in . I have seen first-hand how pre-k students can use technology in the classroom . I am able to share learning videos, music and much more with my entire class with my Smart board. Having a dedicated set of classroom tablets with different apps in Spanish would give my students the ability to access technology and multimedia all day long and differentiated learning. By giving my students an early start with technology, they will be better prepared as they move through the grades with the knowledge they need to receive the full benefits computers, tablets and technology in general has to offer.
