Before it is decorated and personalized for the school year, our classroom is very similar to what you remember your middle school science classroom to be. We have a wall of storage cabinets and drawers and lots of black tables. We sit in table groups so that we can encourage and inspire one another. The students have all worked hard at becoming life long learners and being proficient in all subject areas. Right now our levels of proficiency vary but we will continue to work on this. We work on this through intervention programs and small group learning. We take advantage of all of our learning opportunities while sharing our various backgrounds, cultures, and interest.
