Goodbye hard tile floors and used office furniture! Hello "Big Joe" bean bag chairs! My middle school students are the kindest, most appreciative, hardworking students in all of South Carolina. They have great potential and love to read! Our school district has just incorporated a new reading program and with my students various learning styles, they have needs that should be accommodated in order for them to reach their maximum potential. All of my students have some sort of disability and would benefit from having optional seating in the classroom. I have a classroom full of students and need something that does not take up a lot of space, and that is comfortable. I've purchased 2 bean bag chairs for our reading nook. I can fit 2 students in my tiny reading area at one time and this at least gets the kids off the floor and provides back support in a fun environment while they read.
