My classroom is a self-contained special education classroom for K-2 students. All of my students have disabilities that require significant modifications to the curriculum and environment. Nearly all of my students are also English Language Learners. Most of my students also have intensive social-emotional, communication, sensory, and/or physical/mobility needs. But most of all, my students are resilient, silly, and eager to learn, explore, and have fun! We love to do hands-on activities that allow us to use our senses.
