My K-2 students are classified as having an Autism Spectrum Disorder. They are in a 6:1:1 class. Their functioning levels and needs vary. They all have difficulty learning new material and maintaining skills that are previously learned. Their unique learning styles requires us to try new methods and strategies every day. It is such a wonderful and rewarding experience working with all of my students, who are the sweetest, kindest, and most caring children I have ever met.
