My goal is to help my students that have sensory integration difficulties have the tools to be successful! The items that I have requested include weighted vests and a weighted blanket that will be able to provide a deep pressure touch systems that have been referred to as a "portable hugs." Other items are to provide tactile sensory to help keep their hands busy so that their minds are ready to learn. These materials will allow my students to focus while learning new information and begin to self-regulate their bodies so they are productive as they continue their schooling career and beyond.
