I work closely with teachers to help support students in the building who are struggling with their mental health. My goal is to make every student feel happy, safe, and ready to learn! As the School Adjustment Counselor, it is my duty to ensure my students are able to access the school curriculum, which is only possible if they are regulated and emotionally available to learn. Play is an extremely important therapy technique that can be used when building/fostering relationships and working to teach strategies to students. I am accessible to all students in the building with different levels of needs. I have multiple methods and tools to access and educate my students through individual, group, and play therapy all of which would not be possible without the generous donations from Donors Choose!
