Pottery and Sculpture class is an 8th grade elective. Students need to have taken 7th grade Beginning Art, which I also teach. Since both classes are held in the same room, the Beginning Art students get to see all the 8th graders' finished clay projects when they are ready for grading. They also see the pottery wheels that currently reside in the back of the room. When they get into Pottery and Sculpture they are so excited to make their own clay projects on the wheel!
