In any given day, over 100 sixth graders pass through the halls I work in. While I have a caseload of over 15 students, I support the entire sixth-grade team through special education services, intervention, and academic support.
My work is grounded in equity, access, and empathy. I provide reading intervention rooted in the Science of Reading and learner-focused math instruction designed to remove barriers to learning. I believe all students deserve meaningful access to high-quality instruction, regardless of their starting point. This means offering multiple ways to engage, clear supports, and instruction that honors students’ strengths and lived experiences.
My students are thoughtful, curious, and resilient. I strive to create learning spaces where students feel seen, supported, and safe to take academic risks as we grow together as learners and as humans.
