The best way for us to learn during this current environment is to stay engaged through relatable topics. Reyna Grande's story is one that is not unfamiliar to our community in Greenfield. I strongly feel that her story will inspire my students to make the best of their opportunities and overcome their obstacles. I have so many fun project plans to go with our novel study--such as a student book review, personal narratives, and lessons on resilience. I am so excited to be able to not just provide this book, but provide an experience to my students.
