My math classroom is filled with manipulatives for hands-on learning. My students "get the math" but need help with their reading skills. These leveled math readers will help my students improve their reading. Most of my students are English Language Learners and have a low reading level that keeps them from being successful. They need math books. The math carpet will be a beautiful addition to our superhero-themed classroom. I will use it as a whole group meeting space. This will give the students an opportunity to get out of their seats and join each other on the carpet as a math community.
