The projector will be used daily during reading instruction to present the projectables that match our curriculum. With this projector, I will able to use paper (that I purchase for my classroom) I would ordinarily have to use to print individual copies of the projectables for other important projects. We will also use the projector during our science lessons to increase engagement with educational videos during our opening. Currently when we have community circle or do whole group read alouds, we are confined to our desks or sit on the uncomfortable tile floor. With the carpet, we will have a welcoming place to gather every morning and afternoon and during whole group phonics instruction. Basic supplies, like pencils, pencil sharpener, paper, and a laminator will go far in helping us complete our work and projects. Thus far, I have been purchasing these things out of pocket but this is unfortunately not sustainable in the long term.
