I believe that my students deserve options and a comfortable, organized classroom. This project will provide my students with 2 futon sofas and a set of stools for flexible seating. It will also provide my students with plastic mailboxes that they will be able to store their work and belongings in. Incorporating more flexible seating options in the classroom will enable my students to pick comfortable seating around the classroom and encourage them to focus. It will also enable us to make the best use of our instructional space. Furthermore, student mailboxes will give my students a place to store their work and belongings as they swap to four different classes throughout the day. This project will not only positively impact my homeroom, but all 86 sixth graders that will walk in my classroom each day. My goal is to provide my students with engaging lessons in an engaging learning environment. Please take the opportunity to help me in building a fun and effective working space for these students.
