Quarantine life is tough on an adult, let alone young children. They miss their friends, their playground and their teachers. I want to give my students the classroom of their dreams when they return to in-person instruction. My plan is to use these items to organize the classroom and allow each student to have their own set of supplies and items to use for learning. Since they are unable to share, it's important that I have enough supplies for each student to have their own set.
With these materials, my students will be able to have their own supplies to help with COVID precautions.
The products that I have chosen will help my students stay organized. The folders will be used for home-to-school communication with parents. This is very important since the population of student backgrounds in my class is varied. I will use the Dry Erase caddy during small group instruction to store my dry erase boards that my students will use to practice their sight words. After being at home for so long, some students are going to be frightened by a new place. If possible, I want to make their transition from home to school more enjoyable by providing them with the materials and games they need in order to be successful. These materials will enhance the learning environment and provide a calming place where my students will feel safe and loved.
