The Osmo base and coding systems will change the way my students view learning and the world around them. As a teacher in a low income and high poverty area of the community, my students do not always have access to technology at home, so the only way they are able to learn how to use technology is at school, in addition to all of the curriculum they are expected to learn. They will be able to deepen and extend their learning of letters, numbers and shapes through technology integration. They will develop real world social skills by playing and creating with their peers. This will give an enrichment opportunity to the students who are above level, and an intervention for students who need the information presented to them in another way.
