We are attempting achievement beyond our obstacles. I teach science in the South Bronx. I have students from different cultures, ethnicities, and backgrounds. But what they have in common is that they are all curious beings that do not understand or know that their social economic backgrounds keep them from having resources that allow their learning to be enriched. They attend a SINI school, that is trying very hard to reach all their students' academic and social needs.
