My students are predominately Spanish speaking. These children are coming from rough home lives. School becomes their stability; even their safety net for some. These children are very eager to be at school. Oral language is a skill that many of these children struggle with as they have not had the opportunities to be exposed at home. Our school is very dedicated to breeching this gap and we will be focusing on oral language strategies and skills even more this upcoming school year.

About my class
