I'm a Kindergarten teacher at a Tampa charter school. Students come to me with all ranges of experiences -- some are already reading, while others don't know letters and sounds. Charter schools face a unique challenge, in that while we are public and under the umbrella of the district, we do not receive the same funding that the other schools do. That being said, our school and our teachers are some of the most creative and proactive teachers as we make every effort to ensure that our students have everything (and then some) they need to make learning fun and rewarding. Your help goes a LONG way -- I gratefully acknowledge that my classroom is becoming the powerhouse it is because of the many donations I've already received through Donors Choose. I greatly appreciate your generosity and love of children, as it brings smiles and pride to the faces of my young learners. Thank you so much!
