As a teacher I am always looking for a new way of teaching my students. Being able to use LEGO kits to help them in math and science after school was the best idea I ever had. While playing with LEGO bricks I can get the attention of the students to focus on something they care about and are passion it about. They have the connection of the reason behind why I am learning this. They are certainly more engaged. With these materials I will be able to have tangible ways to make them ask questions about mathematics problems. I will be able to engage them in fun and creative activities that they are into. It will be possible to encourage them to be thinkers and problem solvers.
