Students need to use headphones to complete daily assignments using Chromebook laptops. Most of the software students are engaged in makes learning fun. After completing required assignments, students are allowed to investigate learning games that require sound to play. Headphones are required for students due to the noise level. Sumdog is a favorite site used we use for math. This website allows students and our classroom to enter contest. We compete for the most problems answered correctly. Front rowed, xtra math, and zearn are a few other sites we use for math. Brain pop, Moby Max, Read Theory, and a host of other sites are used to create a 21st Century learning environment. As today's society leans more on technology, teachers teach using more technology.
