These materials will allow my students to utilize their learning in a fun and interactive way. My students will be able to learn about time and measurement by using the activity station. They will be able to showcase what they have learned during our extensive place value unit when independently working with the roll and solve place value game. Although my students are in the 2nd grade, there are some that struggle with basic math facts. The fishing for addition and subtraction facts will help them quickly learn basic math in a fun way. When they are able to do different activities it will keep them interested in the learning process. Math is all about hands on manipulatives on the primary level. Touching and sharing and interacting with one another while learning will improve all of my students skills as future mathematicians.
