A document camera will help me show my students examples of how their assignments should look in real time. Often my students need concrete examples of how the finished product should look. A document camera will provide that for them during distance learning. Using a document camera during virtual speech-language therapy sessions will allow the students to see nondigital stimuli. Such as using the sand tray during Orton Gillingham based lessons. Or the steps in a craft project during therapy. It will allow for the use of printed materials that cannot be photocopied and distributed to students during sessions.
