Our state test has several "audio" questions. We have been practicing listening to text and answer questions based only on what we hear. Headphones would increase student ability to listen accurately by allowing a stronger focus. Right now, we don't have headphones. We practice audio text/questions as a whole group. This is very difficult with up to 35 students in a class. We are trying to recreate a testing environment in class so students can focus on text they are listening to without the noise and distractions of other students in the classroom. Headphones provide increased concentration, which would lead to more accurate results.
