Throughout the school day, there are a variety of students that come into the learning support classroom for one-on-one instruction, small group instruction, and small group testing. Although we have many wonderful resources already available to the students, there are a few seating changes that will be beneficial in the classroom. The half-moon table would be perfect during small group instruction, allowing me to have each student within arms reach in case they need assistance. The stools for the table are ideal for the students who have difficulty sitting still. I plan to use the standing white board desk for some students who prefer to stand while they work.
