I am an RSP (Resource Specialist Program) teacher, this means that I provide help to student who qualify for special education services. All of my students are in general education settings for the majority of their day. Sometimes, I come into their classrooms to provide help and services, or I pull them out of their classrooms to spend time receiving services with myself in my office on a one to one or small group basis. I teach students of all elementary grades with a wide variety of disabilities, which means I use a wide variety of materials. I also work one to one with teachers who have my students in their general education classrooms to best support these students through curriculum modification, scaffolding, and and a variety of other supports.
