Not one size fits all, and flexible seating is a way to make sure everyone can have the best learning environment (even if that means a few wiggles or two). Please help my Shining Stars wiggle into the new school year. A desk and a chair is not a one-size-fits-all learning environment, some kids need options. This is why I am asking for your help to get my students flexible seating, so they can move and learn all at the same time. I am asking for four ball chairs, four swivel task chairs, two pedal exercisers, four wobble cushions, and some bouncy fidget chair bands. Ball chairs will allow students to quietly bounce in place, swivel task chairs allow them to twist side to side, the wobble cushions allow students to use their core to balance in their seat, and the exercise peddlers and bouncy bands can keep their feet moving during a lesson. All of these options are quiet and subtle enough to still allow the class to remained a controlled environment. They also help get the brain's attention off of their body needing to fidget, and more engaged in classroom instruction. Thank you for your support. Anything helps.
