As a kindergarten class, my students are beginning to build their language and literacy skills. They need a strong foundation to set them up for success in the future. With these materials, students will get hands-on, engaging, and developmentally appropriate experiences to work on their letter ID, sounds, and building words. Students will have opportunities to sort pictures into the alphabet soup sorters, build sentences with sight word sentence pieces, build CVC words with cubes and picture cards, and practice reading sight words with sight word bingo! All students are different. My project also includes flexible seats to meet the needs of my students that need to move around as they sit to enhance their focus.
