I teach the best kids on the planet. I teach AP US history to tenth graders in Livonia, MI. These kids are 15 years old and they are willing to take in the challenge of a college level course. I also teach Accelerated Himanities to seniors. This innovative course teaches European History, Art History, and European Literature. We take field trips to art museums and encourage students to step out of their comfort zones to experience the culture and values of societies. My students are so appreciative of the awesome resources that are funded with Donors Choose. The empowerment that comes from knowing that people care about them is something I cannot even express. My students are passionate, caring and engaged young people. They work hard and they have a record of success. I see the future every day in my class and I assure you the future is in excellent hands.
