In our classroom, the students are allowed to work around the room whenever they would like to. Therefore, I try to make the classroom as comfortable, and as fun as I can. I previously did a project to get flexible seating chairs for the students to use to sit around the room, and wow were those a hit! Now...I am on a mission for what else I can bring in the classroom to help the kiddos. Nowadays, it is very difficult for some kiddos to sit still, on a hard chair, and be able to focus and do work. I want to bring in movement while they sit! Since these kiddos are at my guided reading table and guided math table every day working with me, I wanted to give them an opportunity to sit on wobble chairs instead of sitting on hard stools or chairs. That way, they can have some movement while sitting, instead of their bottoms be uncomfortable.
