Just recently I was able to be a part of a training by Launch CS, which is a company that fills in the computer science content knowledge gap for K-8 in-service teachers. We realized as a district though, that our resources in the classroom do not support the programs that we learned about in order for our students to be better problem solvers and be able to get a job in our new technological world. Students need to be able to have access to technology, which is why I am asking for Kindles and eventually I hope to get Ozobots. I am hoping to have them exposed to as much technology as they need to be successful.
