My students are an amazing and diverse group of 5 and 6 year old children - many of whom are experiencing school for the first time! They are excited to be at school each day, to learn, to have new and exciting experiences, to build friendships and to start their journey as lifelong learners! They are active, busy learners throughout the day in our full day kindergarten classroom. My school serves students who live in a low income urban city. The majority of our students are English Language Learners and all of our students are able to receive free breakfast and lunch daily. Our classrooms are inclusive, so students who may receive special education services (including speech, OT, PT,APE, resource room supports, etc.) work and learn alongside students who do not receive services.
