About 85% of my students come from low income neighborhoods and face incredible trials each day just to get to school. With below average test scores and under-utilization threatening to close down our school, we are doing everything that we can to prepare our students for post-secondary success, despite the lack of funding received from the city. Our school experiences continuous budget cuts, but the staff remains optimistic and determined to help our students reach their fullest potential and we have seen many amazing success stories because of this.
