My dual credit students take a course called ART 1301 from a local college, they are very excited about the lessons and projects they have been able to make. One thing that prevents students from engaging fully in an art project is the inability to draw. Having an iPad for digital animations, tutorials, and practice will be very beneficial not to mention accommodating to different learning styles.
The art projector is another way to accommodate and facilitate the drawing process as students can use it to trace and line amazing pictures and panoramas it is an especially great tool because its function is so multifaceted. The goal is to allow them the materials to bring forth those talents that need polishing. The more resources we are able to have in order to help students improve could lead into them entering their work for our talent competitions here at school.
I have my own website to manage all my students. Without electronics it is hard for them to easily access the tools necessary for class. Having an iPad for easy and convenient internet access will simply open the door for innovation.
