This year, I support all students in all classes. We are a small school in an urban area. With no designation our funding is limited and that limits what we are able to offer our students. We are still seeing the effects of the pandemic. Our students need frequent redirection, additional academic supports, the opportunity to spend time with others, and find their genius. They have become consumers of technology. It is my goal to transform them to creators of technology and engineering. From Pre-K through 8th, where there is science and engineering taught, students are blooming. From my “littlest” engineers to my six foot giants in middle school, they deserve to engage in inquiry and collaboration, experiencing the joys of discovery in science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics and leadership on their own terms.
