I have a wonderful group of fourth grade students this year! They love when they get to sit in flexible seating - the bounce ball and the seat cushion - and earning that privilege helps them to stay focused and behave in class! When they get to sit in these seats, they stay more focused and tell me that it makes the classroom environment much more exciting! We often use the sticky note easel to do projects and hang up class-made posters around the room, which helps the students to be able to reference them during class-time! With the books I am asking, I will be able to do small group guided reading and provide my students with more grade-level appropriate books for their classroom library! I am watching my students begin to foster a love for reading, and I want to ensure that I do everything in my power to support them in their journey!
