Providing my students with the ability to sit where they choose will allow them to make choices that work best for them to accomplish our goals. When we are working independently or in pairs, my students can choose a location that they feel most comfortable at. Right now, my students work in different parts of my classroom for example: other tables, or the floor. I know that by making sure they are comfortable they will be more motivated. I have already seen great things with the limited resources that I already have in my classroom, and would be thrilled to see the look on their faces when they come in and see the difference! I have seen a huge impact on my students’ learning and collaboration when they are comfortable and can choose their seating area. I have chosen the Kore adjustable wobble chairs. These chairs allow the students to wiggle while they work to help increase productivity. My students would also love a Comfy Floor Seat as yet another option for my students to be comfortable while they are learning. Just giving the students the power of choice makes a huge impact The wobble seats are great for my students because they are adjustable so that they are not confined to one workspace. I would love to use these wobble seats when I pull my small groups to work on focused skills. I would love to see these used to allow my students to work at different tables so that they are always where they are most comfortable. I want my students to continue to be successful and reach their full potential, and I know that this a tool that will assist them in meeting our high expectations.
