My students participate in at least one major lab per unit of study. This includes a puzzling phenomenon that we explore with hands on experiences that allow the students to dive into what they are learning. The Digital Scales and Calculators (and batteries) will be used by all students in almost every lab experience throughout the year. These basic supplies will allow students to gather pre and post data for almost every lab we conduct in Biology. My students then analyze the data they gather and use it to create explanations of what is happening in the initial puzzling phenomenon.
