We are constantly moving in my classroom with many opportunities for students to collaborate on group projects. Flexible seating fosters an ownership over learning. Choice in seating also offers wiggly, anxious students, and students with special needs a warm space to build their reading stamina with the use of a standing desk, comfy floor seats, and wobble chairs. When children are at ease they feel more at home in their classroom. Providing alternative seating addresses the needs of all my learners and will help them achieve academic success through movement and comfort. Your help and support is greatly appreciated and thank you for helping to make this goal a reality!
