My students are 2nd graders who spent their foundational reading years (Kindergarten & 1st grade) learning online due to the pandemic. As a result, they have significant gaps in their foundational literacy knowledge. We work daily in a small group setting to fill those gaps and reach their grade level reading level. They are hard working, motivated students that were forced to learn how to read on Zoom. But, with the right tools, we can close the gap while they are still young and excited to learn!

About my class
