During the day we are allowed intervention and small group time with our students. A portion of the class will come to the back table for discussions and interventions, while the other portion is working independently on an online intervention called i-Ready. i-Ready provides support with phonemic awareness, and reading comprehension. Students need to be able to hear clearly while working on their personalized lessons. Quality headphones will allow my students to work uninterrupted by any other noises in the room. Students would be able to hear phonemes and phrases correctly which would allow them to receive accurate results leading to the correct interventions. Currently, we only have 3 pairs of working headphones with a minimum of 20 students in each section. .
