Each student in my classroom requires sensory supports to support their academic, social, and behavioral skills. Creating a safe space with these pillows will allow students to have an area in my classroom to use self-regulation​ techniques to regulate their emotions and get back on track to learn! Having sensory supports in my classroom will help students learn new skills and socially acceptable behavior. This project for Giant Pillows will help support the sensory needs of students in a substantially separate language based program. Having a "safe space" for my students to go to regulate their emotions will help them put their taught social skills into practice!
