My classroom is 1-to-1 with Mac books. Allowing each student to have a pair of headphones would allow me to incorporate more learning opportunities for each student. Some lessons may require them to watch a video and take notes or respond in writing. Some students can use a program like code.org to help them learn coding languages such as python. Other students may enjoy taking virtual field trips to NASA or the Smithsonian or use an educational app to create and solve problems. The possibilities would be endless if each student had a set of headphones. If each student has a set of headphones that they can use with their Mac book, it would allow me to better implement the computer science curriculum while individualizing learning centers to meet student​ learning needs.
