These materials will provide my students a way to learn math through manipulatives. Not all students are auditory learners and it will help to give those students the same advantage when learning. When entering fourth grade most students have forgotten most of third. Things such as multiplication and place value are crucial to their fourth grade year. The place value flip charts will help show my students in small groups how to round and use place value when learning standard form and expanded form. The multiplication bingo will help refresh their mind on the multiplication facts as we begin the year. All of these materials will help my visual and kinesthetic learners master their learning goals through hands-on activities. These manipulatives and resources will also help with measurement, degrees of a circle, and group work.
