The instruments that I am requesting for my students already have a welcoming home; we just need your help in welcoming them! Our music room is well-equipped with storage and tables to house these instruments, and our students' hearts are most eager to love them. The mallet instruments will be explored in a variety of settings. They will offer students the chance to discover musical range, accompany their own singing, and perform complete instrumental works. The rainstick and temple blocks will add color to these performances, and they will serve to increase engagement through literature as well. Students will play these instruments strategically throughout the reading of a book to enhance the experience and bring the story to life—our students will love "telling" their favorite stories through music! The donations to this project will help to improve my students' exploration and development of musical skills. As a passionate music teacher, I have a wealth of lessons and resources ready to go! We just need these instruments—and your support—to bring them to life. Please support our students and donate today!
