Thank you so much for considering my project. A new way of exploration and learning is now a reality, using Virtual Reality. I am hoping to get a class set of Google VR cardboard glasses for my classroom. Using this latest technology students can now take exploration voyages and explore the world of science. Imagine being a sixth grader learning about climate change and landforms. You can read and see pictures, or now you can put on VR glasses and be in the middle of all the action. Using these Google VR glasses and free applications, students can submerge themselves into their learning. Students will be more engaged and motivated to learn science. Students can take field notes from the middle of the jungle in South America, and then go to the tundra lands of Africa and compare species and landform, all with one click. VR is the latest technology in innovation, and I know much more is still to come. These Google VR glasses are not the most high tech, nor are they uber expensive. However I would like for all students to get an opportunity to use them and explore at the same time.
