The materials will make a significant difference in my students learning. The business we have created as a class has allowed my students to learn the skill sets needed to prepare for adult living. The skill sets learned in the smoothie business support self-determination, self-advocacy, and independence. The skills learned in our business will empower my students in the class and in post-school settings. The materials for our business will kick start what we have been working very hard to achieve during the last seven weeks. My students all have specific jobs in our business which will prepare them for post-school job settings. By donating to our project, you will be contributing to my students transition into adult living.
