My students will benefit from a listening center by acquiring letter/ sound recognition, fluency and comprehension in English, their second language. They will also learn the correct modeling of interpretive reading. Furthermore, my students will be introduce to a variety of genres and grasp a richer vocabulary. A listening center will also give my students the opportunity to listen to themselves read for self assessment. With the listening center my students will build stronger listening , speaking, reading and writing skills in their second language, English. These students will become more confident speaking the English language in public; therefore, they will accomplished more in their everyday life.
