The students in Room 1 will benefit from a teaching easel because it will keep our front whiteboard clutter-free. The easel will be the home of our morning message and graph of the week. It will also store teaching materials so that there is more space for the students and their materials in the classroom. All students will benefit from the mobility of the easel! Because it can move, I will be able to roll it to where all students can see all the information that they need. Currently, information is housed on our whiteboard. This is challenging to see as students move around the classroom because currently there is so much information on it. An easel will centralize the most important information for students in the moment. Because the easel is student-sized, they will be able to interact with it more comfortably than our white board. The Morning Message Reader will be able to point to our morning message as he or she reads it without standing on tippy toes. Students on the rug will also be able to see information without craning their necks upward.
