Soothing lighting will help to ease the tension and stress many students feel while sitting in a brightly lit classroom, while Flexible seating will provide my students with the ability to move or adapt how they learn the best, combined these two classroom features will help provide my students with the best chance of seeing success in their academic journey. Having the ability to move while they work or to be able to chose a seat that is more comfortable for their learning, students are able to have a sense of ownership in their classroom and during the educational process. Having individual rugs will allow my students who prefer to work on the floor the opportunity to do so without getting dirty, whereas wobble stools, floor cushions and exercise balls will give other students the ability to move as they work without disrupting the class.
